Standards We Cover
GB standards are the national standards of China, issued by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC). They specify dimensions, materials, mechanical properties and technical requirements for bolts, nuts, washers, screws and other fasteners. Many GB standards are equivalent to ISO standards — for example GB/T 5783 matches ISO 4014.
- GB: Mandatory national standards that must be complied with.
- GB/T: Recommended national standards (voluntary, but widely followed by the industry).
ISO standards are the international benchmark for fasteners. ISO 4014/4017 hex bolts, ISO 4032 hex nuts and ISO 4762 socket head cap screws are accepted worldwide.
German DIN standards dominate European and many export markets — DIN 931/933 hex bolts, DIN 934 hex nuts, DIN 125 washers and DIN 471/472 circlips.
British Standards (BS) are required for UK and Commonwealth projects. We source BS 4190, BS 3692 and BS 1083 fasteners from certified factories.
ASTM standards govern North American projects — ASTM A307, A325 and A490 structural bolts, plus ASTM F593/F594 stainless fasteners.
Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) fasteners — JIS B 1180 hex bolts and JIS B 1181 nuts — for Japanese OEM and aftermarket projects.
ASME B18 series covers inch-series fasteners for US engineering — ASME B18.2.1 bolts, B18.2.2 nuts and B18.22.1 washers.
