How to Choose the Right Washer
Flat washers spread the clamping load and protect the mating surface — select the series (normal, large or small) by hole and OD requirements. Spring and lock washers add preload or anti-loosening protection in vibration-prone assemblies, while conical washers deliver a controlled load-deflection curve. For sealing joints, bonded washers prevent leakage under moderate pressure.
